Earth Day, a time to celebrate the Earth, learn about the environment, and promote conservation.
To inculcate love for Mother Earth -A Home for everyone, Earth day 2022 was celebrated with true spirit. The young minds were introduced to the concept of Earth day through PA system assembly, starting from 19th April Monday 2022. Each section of class II had two speakers daily, who enlightened students on different topics - Importance of Earth Day, ‘Save water,’ ‘Clean Air,’ ‘Save Energy’ and 5 R’s on each day respectively. The students were shown relevant short story videos in class.
The week’s activities saw its culmination on 21st April 2022. Class I students enjoyed doing a craft activity and the lovely hearts took away a message “Save Earth Save Life”. Class II students were asked to wear a badge with a message – “I celebrate Earth day every day.” The students developed the awareness about doing their best and being a “part of solution” not a “part of pollution.”
