Dr. Ashish Rastogi, Sr. Faculty member in the Department of Information Technology, University of Technology and Applied Sciences (Higher College of Technology, Muscat), Sultanate of Oman since 2013. He received his MSc degree in Statistics and Computers from Barkatullah University, Bhopal and Poona University, Pune, India, in 1991 and 1993 respectively. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from GG Central University, India in 2002. He has held lecturing positions at The GG Central University, India. His teaching and research interests include the areas of Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Information Systems, Data Mining and Software Engineering. He has published several research papers related to ICT, m-Gov Apps and acceptance of various commercial Apps in international refereed journals. He is also an active member of Computer Society of India, Internet Society (UAE and Asia – Pacific), IAENG etc.

An accomplished professional with a PhD from IIT Madras, with numerous accolades reflecting dedication and expertise. He served in various leadership positions, including Principal and Dean & Head of Department at Christ Knowledge City, Engineering College, with an overall 17 years of experience. Currently, he holds a position at the Military Technological College, Ministry of Defence, Muscat, Oman.
