ISD’s Annual Art Exhibition: 'Brush and Beyond'

Indian School Darsait organized Brush and Beyond, the annual Art Exhibition on Sunday,
January 26, 2025. H.E. Shri Amit Narang, the Ambassador of India to the Sultanate of Oman,
inaugurated the second edition of the annual art show in the senior school auditorium.
Over 200 works of art by the students in the Primary and Senior sections, from classes I to XII,
were on display. The paintings and sketches included a variety of themes, from flora and fauna to
culture and portraits.
H. E. Shri Amit Narang and other dignitaries, who were present at the Republic Day
Celebrations at Indian School Darsait, were guided around the hall to view the exhibits by the
two Art masters, Mr. Sandeep Sadanam and Mr. Baiju P. K. Alok C. Sukumaran, a promising
student of class VIII presented the ambassador with his painting.
The ambassador was full of praise for the exceptional skill and creativity of the young artists. He
also commended the well-organized and the neat presentation of the art work.
This is the second year that the school is organising Brush and Beyond: Art Exhibition, the first
being conducted last year in 2024 on 26 January.
The Art Exhibition will remain open to the parents until 28 January 2025 from 7.30 a.m. to 1.00
p.m. and from 4.30 p.m. to 7.00 p.m.
